# Product engineering

Your product ships, and your team knows it inside out.

I’ll take your product from a rough sketch or a prototype to production, in your codebase and to your team’s conventions. I’m strongest on the front end, and at home across the stack. If your team doesn’t have a lead yet, I can be one while you hire: I’ve been a tech lead and a team lead. I write down what I decide as I go, so the judgement stays with your team when I leave.

An Embedded build fits: I join your team for the long haul, shipping with you. If you’re not sure what to build first, that’s where we’ll start. Now and then I take on freelance work too, like a website or an app.

### Biodiversify

An environmental consultancy needed a Japanese-language site they could edit themselves, without losing the typography or the speed. I kept every page prerendered and put WordPress behind the build, so they can publish without a developer.
